Working hours: 40 hours, Mon - Fri, 9 - 5 (plus evenings and weekend flexibility as required) 

PT/ FT: Full time

Salary: £25,000 pro rata

The Opportunity:


We are looking for an enthusiastic, articulate and dedicated temporary Marketing Assistant to support our Annual Event for 3 - 4 months, up until the event’s end date 8 November 2026.

Excellent customer relations skills and a hard work ethic are essential to balance a varied and dynamic workload. The ideal candidate should have good communication, telephone manner and organisational skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. The position would start in July (includes working in the office and onsite at the shows first week of November, 2-8). 


Working within the Marketing team, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking and looking to help grow our visitor base. This role would be ideal for a recent graduate who is looking for their first role in event marketing.

The Marketing team consists of the Marketing Communications Manager and the Senior Marketing Executive, who report to a Brand Director and Fair Director, working collaboratively with Sales and Operations teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Assisting the Marketing Communications Manager and Senior Marketing Executive in:

  • Building relationships with and providing customer service to exhibiting brands 

  • Managing Exhibitor Liaison to improve exhibitor comms for increased exhibitor tickets

  • Assisting with the distribution of all promotional materials 

  • Updating event websites with relevant exhibitor information (FAQ’s and Exhibitor Zones) 

  • Onsite delivery of the exhibitor comms and visitor experience, which could include feature management 

  • Creating basic design briefs for exhibitor comms
