ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an outgoing, self-motivated, proactive and passionate Event Assistant ideally with at least 1-years previous experience in events but we are equally open to someone moving industries, or just starting out in their career. This role is to help deliver exciting and impactful events for our private, corporate and leading brand clients. You will be joining our close-knit team in London, supporting our Event Management team. The role will involve all aspects of event assistance, sourcing venues/caterers/entertainment etc, helping to develop creative concepts and pitches, liaising with suppliers, and assisting on the event itself at the highest standard possible from start to finish. You will also be working alongside our venue team to help run events in our own new event space.
You'll typically work on the following kinds of events:
Corporate summer and Christmas events;
Internal engagement events;
Press days, product launches and Premier parties;
Pop-ups / temporary installations;
Private parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and weddings;
Conferences & meetings
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Event Assistant, your main responsibilities include:
Assisting the venue & events team with a high number of events
Supporting the venue & event managers with logistical and administrative support
Accompanying event managers to external events
Assisting with creative decisions
Helping to develop briefs into pitch presentations
Research/source, venues & suppliers that fit the budget & concept
Helping to produce detailed proposals/budgets for events (to include (but not excluding) venues, catering, styling, production and staffing)
Attending all meetings to act as a second point of contact where required
Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion
Ensure excellent customer service quality is always delivered
WE NEED SOMEONE WHO IS/HAS:
A great communicator with people of all levels, possessing excellent customer service skills.

Creative and the ability & or desire to think outside the box
A do-er, a yes person, proactive by nature
Able to work in a calm and organised manner when under the pressure of tight deadlines and clients’ demands, with a desire to go the extra mile.
Well-organised, fast-paced, fun, creative, outgoing and happy to work as part of a small team and on your own and can use initiative.

Job requirements
A passion & enthusiasm to learn about the events industry and the desire dive into our wonderful crazy fulfilling world!
Basic knowledge of production, including working with internal or external production teams is preferred, but not essential.
Good client facing skills and the ability to develop relationships.
Understanding or budget and project management skills.
Passion for styling and creative event design experience.
Computer savvy: confident in MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential. Knowledge of CAD, Sketch-up and any other design package is a bonus
Outstanding written and spoken communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills; Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.
Problem solver and a keen head for logistics.
A can-do attitude with a desire to learn and grow in a supporting team.
