Reporting to: Resort Management Team

Direct reports: Reception Team

Salary on offer: Competitive, dependent on experience

Location / Office address: Ilfracombe, North Devon

WFH / Office / Remote: On‑site

Working hours: Full‑time, rota‑based including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and school holidays

Start date: As soon as possible

A large holiday resort in North Devon is seeking an experienced and highly organised Reception Manager to lead its front‑of‑house team. This hands‑on role is central to delivering exceptional guest experiences, overseeing check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, guest enquiries and complaint resolution. The manager will motivate and develop the reception team, manage rotas and performance, ensure high service standards and work closely with all resort departments to keep operations running smoothly. Candidates should have strong leadership skills, hospitality or customer‑service management experience, excellent communication abilities and confidence working in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment. This is a full‑time permanent role with varied hours across the week.
