Sector: Education

Title of role: Student Services Executive

Reporting to: Director of Student Services

Direct reports: None

Salary on offer: £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata (depending on experience.)

Location/ Office address: Lewes, East Sussex

WFH/ Office/ Remote: Hybrid

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 17:30 (some occassional evening work will be required.)

Start date: 3 November 2025

The Event Academy is the UK’s No 1 Event Management Training organisation, offering live and online courses at all levels and accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Our focus is on developing our students’ professional skills and experience to ensure they are work-ready and able to achieve their career goals in the event industry.  We offer a variety of courses, work placements, volunteering and jobs within the industry.

Student Services

The primary role of the Student Services Executive is to manage the Student Journey for all Event Academy live and online courses, and to assist in the development of the department. This administrative role is fundamental to the smooth running of our courses. The Student Services Executive will constantly strive to make each, and every student feel valued and a part of the Event Academy family.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring student records and daily course tasks are up to date

  • Regularly updating database records 

  • Sending out all automated and regular communications to students

  • Responding to Student Services emails and ensure all incoming enquiries and requests are dealt with

  • Liaising with lecturers to provide them with course and venue information 

  • Providing support to Lecturers throughout the courses

  • Administering online exams and related communications with students

  • Assisting with Course Registrations in London

  • Any other task as reasonably requested by the Event Academy team

Job requirements

  • 1 – 2 years of administration experience

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to use initiative

  • Quick to learn new systems and processes

  • Ability to manage time and multitask

  • Great communication (written & oral)

  • Confident phone manner

  • Friendly personality and a caring attitude towards students

  • Good IT literacy skills 

  • Knowledge and experience with using CRM systems
